Cook Road near Janicki Fields
State Patrol and Skagit County Sheriff Deputies are often found near the speed limit change (50mph down to 35mph) on Cook Road, just west of town.
As you get within 1-2 miles of Sedro Woolley, start paying close attention to your speeds. They will rest on the shoulder of the road (in the shadows, lights off) and will know your speed before you know they’re there.
Once the speed lowers to 35mph, officers can often be found around Janicki Play Fields to catch those who failed to slow.
