South Bend, Washington Speed Traps

While driving into town the speed changes from a 55 mph zone to a 30 mph zone in approximatley 1/4 mile.

The cops usually set their speed traps at the boat launch just south of town at about mile post 53 but be wise and look for cops as you pass through town.

This area, Pacific County, has the highest level of tickets issued in the State, I’m sure! No one goes through that area speeding without a ticket, especially out of towners. They are on a Revenue Generating Mission and show NO Mercy.

Heading north on this scenic west coast highway, travelers often get busted as they approach the Oyster Capital of the World. Local Law enforcement hides at the end of a long stretch of road where the speed limit decreases to 25 MPH from 50 MPH.
