Sumner, Washington Speed Traps
E Valley Hwy and Forrest Canyon Rd
Headed south on E Valley, Sumner PD sits at the bottom of Forrest Canyon Rd. on RH side of E Valley and uses SMDs to catch folks coming down Forrest Canyon (speed limit drops to 25mph entering Sumner city limits); they are positioned to catch the SB traffic on E Valley as they come around a corner also. This is at the very edge of the Sumner city limits and is typical of where they set up for speed traps. As E Valley goes into Sumner a little farther southbound (right after passing RV lot on left) they set up on right to catch folks as speed limit goes from 35mph to 25…… big money maker!
