Caledonia, Wisconsin Speed Traps
Hwy K (Northwestern Ave) and Morris St in Franksville
I watched two of Caledonia’s finest yank over commuters all morning long, one to two times a month. They usually sit on Morris waiting for commuters heading West bound to I94, like a spider waiting for vibrations in the web. Thus far today (9:00am) eight speeders taken down by the time they pass Mobile gas station and a couple as they turn back to head to their trap. This area is hot until 11am or so.

7 Mile road & Botting Road
Caledonia Officers will sit on Botting Road watching traffic going East/West on 7 mile. 7 Mile speed limit, just west of Highway 32 is 35 mph until you pass Botting Road. If you anticipate speeding up to the 45 mph zone, they’ll get you for jumping the gun.
7 Mile Rd. and Botting Rd.
When going westbound on 7 Mile Rd (just before Botting Rd.) there is a hill. Just over (like 40 – 50 ft) the crest of the hill the speed goes from 35 to 45. Also, just over the crest of the hill, is a squad shooting radar.
County Trunk K near County Trunk V
Caledonia Officers, Racine County Deputies and even some State Troopers use the farm access points both east and west of this intersection to catch you from either direction. Most of the stops are made on cars going east after they clear a hill between CTH V and Sunflower Road. Most people they stop are the ones who forget the road is 55 mph and forget to slow down after exiting the Interstate.
