Highway 8 and Cnty Hwy SS
The Cameron cops love to sit facing north on Hwy SS just north of the intersection with Hwy 8 coming from the west. Listening to the scanner, they average two to four stops per hour. Not bad for a town with a population of less than 2,000. No wonder their taxes are so low and their squads are so new.

State Route Hwy SS near State Route Hwy 8
Speed limit 35MPH hard to keep in this area. Also on hwy SS Highway sign is prior to speed sign heading north. Can be mistaken for speed sign of 55mph.
