Delafield, Wisconsin Speed Traps

They love to sit right off of Main Street on Garrison Court, coming down the hill from Perkins towards the Lake. I see them there a few times a week!! It’s a 25.

Cops gas up their cars next to the new police station on Main Street and turn eastbound onto Main Street towards town with their radar on. They shoot oncoming westbound traffic coming out of town (Main Street) where speed limit is 25 mph and increases to 35mph at police station. I was recently stopped going 35mph in the 25mph zone, just a couple of blocks short of the limit change to 35mph.

The speed limit is 25 in the town of Delafield. The police car is often "tucked in" at the graveyard.

I’ve seen cop just siting in the movie theater parking lot taking radar. The speed limit is only 25. I know lots of people speed down this road. So just becareful in this area. I useally see them sitting there PM ruch hour and some time late night.

Hello, I am a Delafield Police Officer and a relative sent me this link. I was disappointed to see that Delafield was not listed, so I felt obliged to include it. It’s not that we write a ton of speeding tickets, but I thought I’d give everyone a fair warning. Don’t speed past the Nagawaukee County Park. We sit there with a laser, and will usually get you before you see us. It’s not uncommon to check a vehicle’s speed at that location from 2000+ feet away (anywhere from .4 to .5 mile away). Anything 10+ over the speed limit and you’re likely to get stopped.
