South 43rd Street near Between Howard and Coldspring Avenues
As you drive south on 43rd Street past Howard Avenue, on the right just after the hill, there is a cemetary. Often in the morning, there is a police car sitting behind the cemetary sign-and due to it’s coloring, it is often hard to tell the sign from the black and white car. The speed limit there is 25-I take my foot off the gas as I’m going up the hill-that usually does the trick for me.
43rd Street Between Layton and Edgerton
Watch out for police 2 blocks south of Layton, on the east side of the street. Especially if you’re traveling north towards Layton – trees obscure the cars until you’re right on top of them.
Eastbound I-43
The Milwaukee County Sheriff will park under the 35th street bridge. You can not see him untill you pass. So slow down about 1/4 mile before the 35th street bridge
I-43N&S and 124th or 116th
As your coming in on 43N the cop usually sits right after the speed limit changes from 65 to 55 and hides behind the overpass that is 124th if you know about it you can see if he’s hiding there from a curve on 43 about a half mile away but lately they hide right after 116th overpass there is no way to see them hiding there.
