Ladysmith, Wisconsin Speed Traps
Hwy 8 Ranger Station.
State Patrol likes to sit in driveway of old ranger station because it is at the top of a hill and they can watch traffic both ways.
West 9th Street South {State Highway 27}
The section of West 9th Street South {State Highway 27} from the Visitors Center south to the Hospital. They like to sit in the Rusk County Highway Shop driveway on the west side of the highway 27 – well hidden from view.
It’s easy pickings for them, especially for people that are from out of the area and not familiar with the changing speed zones in that section of road.
Hwy 8 bottom of bridge
police sit in service road by park and radar you as you are coming down the bridge
west fifth street north
police sit by feed company building and radar coming from both ways (north and south). Hard to see them from either way…
