Menomonie, Wisconsin Speed Traps

Sunday morning, April 29 2007; 10:30. Multiple state trooper vehicles at turnaround at MP #37. This is an ambush, because radar is used at the bottom of a mile long downhill grade and out of view over the last small rise. Distance away at first sight…maybe only 1/8 mile. Multiple vehicles pulled over at the area by multiple squad cars.

This exit, was recently remodeled, coincidentally in such away as to provide a major speed trap. I-94 pases under the exit and trees were planted along the ramps which just happen provide excellent camoflage for any squad car. I-94 is posted at 65 in this area, but traffic is almost always moving 5 to 10 over this limit. Not only will the state patrol sit here, but because it runs through City Limits, the City Cops will get you too.

Sit at onramps to freeway behind bridge pillars and scan opposite lane.
