State Route 11, east of Monroe
State patrol regularly sit at the top of the St. Route 59 ramp facing east so that they catch you from behind. They also sit on a knoll just west of the radio station facing east to catch speeders as the come around the curve on Rt. 11 headed west and on a knoll just east of the radio station facing east to catch drivers coming around another curve on Rt. 11 traveling west.
14th Ave near Twining Park
Police cruisers routinely sit in the gravel lot on the north side of the beauty salon where the recreational trail crosses 14th Ave. and monitor traffic going north and south on 14th Ave. Speed limit is 25, but many people exceed that, especially north bound because the patrol car is not visible until it is too late.
