Hwy 67 Bypass
The State of Wisconsin built a bypass around the city of Oconomowoc, and then put a speed limit of 35 at various points. They actually put in two cement pads at the side of the road for police officers to park their cars to catch speeders. Actually the whole area of Oconomowoc is a speed trap. The Oconomowoc Lake area speed limit is 15 mph, which is almost impossible to travel at.

Police officer sits directly past the on-ramps from Highway 16 (Wisconsin Avenue), both northbound and southbound. Speed limit drops from 45 to 35 in this area, when 45-55 would be a safe speed. 35 seems painful but Go 35-40. Area is Heavily patrolled and is a municipal boundary, and therefore is patrolled by both the City of Oconomowoc and the Oconomowoc Township, which uses unmarked cars.
