Oconto, Wisconsin Speed Traps

Get an idea of what cops do in our town: 5000 people, 4 cops cars, 5-6 full time officers. Anyway, most common spot is Pecor St west of highway. (just north of Jenny’s Restaurant). They primarily take it out on out-of-towners, especially out of staters. Limit is 25MPH, but keep at 35 or less and you should be ok.

7 miles north of Oconto on State Highway 41. There is a geographical marker roadside park approx. 1/4 north of the Oconto / Marinette county line on the west side of the highway. County and State Patrol officers have good visibility of NB and SB traffic from this location.
