Paddock Lake, Wisconsin Speed Traps

County Sheriff deputies often are seen waiting in the county park on the north side of the road catching west bound traffic headed for Lake Geneva on the weekends. They can be seen anywhere in the 2 mile stretch of the highway going through town. The hill hides them from oncoming traffic. The speed drops from 55 to 35 in one block.

Traveling west into town after 236th Ave. look for the park on the right hand side by the lake. Sometimes they are in the park and sometimes they are on the opposite side of the street in the parking lot after the park behind the trees all the way in the back.

As soon as the speed limit drops to 35mph. They sit in all areas of this little drive through town. All the locals know this.
