Palmyra, Wisconsin Speed Traps

The police sit in the grade school parking lot, and can get you from either direction. I have lived in Palmyra for 25 years and this has always been a speed trap.

The police like to sit on the first side street pass Mary’s cafe ( heading east) on the north side of Hwy 59 to get people going to fast entering a school zone.

hwy 59 going into palmyra….you pass a lake and a cop sits just before the bp gas station by an empty lot with cars and misc. for sale. he blends in.

Sit by mobil station on hill. They have varied speeds always decreasing at bottoms of hills. Also look for them on main street. This is the police departments main source of revenue. And they need money. Will give out minor equipment violations. Enforce seat belt laws. Very high fines and court costs

The Palmyra cops like to sit in the drive way of a small cemitary just out of town its on a hill and the’ll get you either way your going
