Silvernail Road near Peeblevalley Road
City of Waukesha police set up speedtraps all along Silvernail Rd. from Grandveiw Blvd.to Meadowbrook Rd. They sit at variuos locations so you never know where they are.
State Highway 164/59 near Sunset Street
On Hwys 164 & 59 between Sunset and Big Bend, fairly desolate and people generally tend to go faster than the 45 mph limit here, thus the traps.
Interstate 94 near Mooreland Road
I was recently pulled over and cited from a Waukesha County Sheriff’s Deputy who was sitting right after the speed changed from 65 mph to 55 mph on I-94 Eastbound just after Mooreland Road. I explained to the deputy that I did not see the sign and he did not care. This is defintely a speedtrap! The deputy was sitting there between 1 AM and 2 AM. It was nearing the end of the month, so I am sure that is a statistic booster area.
Springdale Road near Moreland Road
Cops like to sit in the Elks Club parking lot. They are fairly hidden in this spot and it sits right at the bottom of a slight hill, where, if you do not ride your brakes down this hill, you will end up being over the speedlimit by the time you get to the bottom of it (where of course the cop is sitting, hidden in the Elks parking lot)!
MedowBrook Road near State Highway G
cops sit on any of the side streets. Its only 25 and they give no warnings!
