West Allis, Wisconsin Speed Traps
S 60th St. & W Arthur Ave.
West Allis squads like to sit on Arthur shooting cars driving northbound on S. 60th Street (this is where the speed limit transitions from 35 to 30mph). It is a well hidden location which is partially masked by a small climbing grade, and cannot be seen until you’re right on top of it (although you’ll be able to spot them easier if you’re in the left lane).
I usually see them deployed in this trap during the morning rush and early afternoon hours, but I’ve also seen them after bar close and at other weird times (presumably due to boredom). They are constantly bagging drivers, so don’t be one of them.
South Wollmer Road near Ohio Street
Marked Car sits on Ohio and shoots car coming south on Wollmer. Time of day usually 3.00-3.30 pm.

92nd Street near Greenfield Avenue
This speedtrap goes from Greenfield Ave to Schlinger Ave. on S 92nd St.in West Allis. The speed limit is 25 and they will stop for anything over that. I have seen the polcie sitting on either side of the street along the side streets.
US Highway 100
Be careful driving on hwy 100 late nights usually after 8:30-9. The cops will be out especially on weekends and friday nights trying to get cruisers. The ones i see is a black suburban catching car plate numbers and then radioing the cops waiting in the shopping mall after Beloit road, they have the cops lined up to jet out and get someone. Sometimes i will see a line of 4-5 cop cars waiting. Also beware about the tricky spots and dont hang out at the gas stations as they will be there. The SuperAmerica i saw cops blockade the cars in and ticket everyone. Also a spot i saw, very tricky to find, when making a left or right onto Edgerton near the Amoco gas station, right after the gas station across from Thats Amore Italian Restaurant, there is a wooden fence, A COP STAYS BEHIND THERE OFTEN, i have seen many cops fork out there so be alert.
Entire Town
Lived in West Allis for almost 18 years, now live in West Milwaukee and still do a good amount of driving in both of these places. WATCH OUT! West Allis cops are tough. I’ve had more than a few run ins with them, many of which had nothing to do with my driving! (I know this because I was on FOOT!)
