Sheridan, Wyoming Speed Traps
I-90 Heading up to Sheridan.
Heading down the mountain or large hill before you get to Sheridan exit, heading towards Montana. My expierence fits what someone else said here. I am from out of state. I told the officer I was not speeding and I had my cruise control on, set at under 70 mph. The speed limit was 75. I then slowed down to under 65, because that was the speed limit at the construction zone. I also rember someone passing me on the right lane, because I was driving in the left lane. He did not get pulled over, but I did. I do believe the real speeder was from Wyoming. I live 1,100 miles from here. It will cost more to show up in court for a case I might loose. I am shocked.
I-90 in WY between South Dakota and Montana
There are at least two car cops hiding in different places along the segment between SD and MT, but their favorite spot is around Sheridan (Crook County), Exits 334 or 338. Their preference is for cars with license plates from States other than WY.

The Hwy coming into Sheridan from Decker, MT. A few miles north of Sheridan the speed limit drops to 55 mph, then abruptly to 40 mph. Than at the overpass to 35mph!

North bound to Montana State line just before the Yellowstone/ Graybull off-ramp, The hill is steep enough to make most cars gear into lower gear( speeding-up) over the top of hill, WHP usually in the median as you crest the hill.
