Shoshoni, Wyoming Speed Traps

The police wait at the edge of town between 4th street and 2nd street where 2nd street becomes highway 26 East. The speed increases from 30 to 45 and then to 70.

Speed trap still going strong. I turned East coming from Thermopolous and cops were in hiding. This should be a 45 mile per hour zone as it’s basically the highway, but they’ve reduced it to 30 to catch tourists.

2-3 miles of 30 mph speed limit which should probably be 45 mph except near the school…police officer patrols constantly and "always" has someone stopped…

Shoshoni is a small town that likely counts on revenue from speeders. The limits are not unreasonable but are strictly enforced. Vacationing in Wyoming? Slow down when cruising through Shoshoni!
