Danville, California Speed Traps

Police Car is parked with students cars in front of High School (between La Gonda Way & El Cerro). Radar gun is built into drivers side mirror of police car. No way to distinguish police car from the row of students cars when heading north.

Officer sits on a side street or driveway waiting with his radar gun to trap you, will not hear any reasons,will just hand you a ticket.

Spotted very short time ago on the weekend, but may be there on weekdays as well. Motorcycle officer will sit on the right hand side, near a side road, shooting laser at approaching traffic.

Very early, 6:30 AM when it’s dark.

Got a laser alert on my Valentine 1 just before the fire station. I was going the posted speed limit. Never saw him, but I’m pretty sure he was hiding somewhere near by.

Be careful in that area.

Heading northbound on 680, CHP cruiser will hide behind the right side of the bridge support (this bridge is Sycamore Valley Rd. going over the freeway)

This enforcement is very common on the weekends, AM periods.

He’s very hard to see.
