Danville, California Speed Traps
Danville Boulevard near Ramon Court
Northbound on Danville Blvd north of El Cerro Blvd and just past Ramon Court on right is a church. Often there is a Danville cruiser sitting way at the back of parking lot radaring traffic. If you go northbound aprox 1/8 of mile more you will often see a DPD motorcycle in a private driveway on left before Hartford Rd.
San Ramon Valley Boulevard near Greenbrook Drive
Motorcycle radar, Officer will hide behind phone box(Right Hand side), Will be looking for north bound drivers, 40 MPH Zone.
San Ramon Valley Boulevard near El Cerro Road
When turning left off of El Cerro onto SRV Blvd going south, you immediately enter into a 25 mph school zone, but because you are making the turn onto a very big thoroughfare where you don’t expect the speed to be only 25 mph, it is easy to miss the speed sign, and the cops are sitting right there and get you everytime, even on weekends
Camino Tassajara Boulevard near Hill Meadow Street
Motorcycle policeman with radar parks on Hill Meadow. There is a radar speed monitor near this location, so the motorcycle radar signal is masked.
Camino Tassajara Road near Hill Meadow Road
There are usually motorcycle officers radaring traffic westbound on Camino Tassajara from behind a local housing group sign "Anderson Ranch". What makes this trap particularly interesting is that the officer is in the shadow of a standard K-band radar emmiter for a speed sign about 100 meters down the road. This means those with radar detectors can get fooled, because they always get a hit in that area anyway.
