Los Angeles, California Speed Traps
1200 Alfred Street near Pico Boulevard
Not really a "Speed Trap" but police officers regularly park in the alley between the Post Office and the residential neighborhood and watch for people making right hand turns out of the post office (there are clearly posted no right turn signs) Officers will spend entire mornings on most weekdays policing this area and writing tickets for this infraction. I live on Alfred St and have been pulled over when the officer mistook my legal U-turn for an illegal right turn.
Slauson Avenue near Alviso Avenue
Usually on the South side of Slauson if your traveling East. Motorcycle enforcement just sits and waits and racks up plenty $ for Los Angeles.
Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Ventura Boulevard
Driving up and down the hill on the valley side of Mulholland Drive, cops on motorcycles hide in driveways with radar guns, always catching people on the easy to speed on street.
Vernon Avenue near Broadway Street
Camera mounted on S/E corner working 24 hrs
