Division Street near Saint Mary Street
Cops are known to park on a small, one way section of Division St. as it becomes St. Mary St., just before Pleasanton Ave.
Sunol Boulevard near Bernal Avenue
At least 2-3 cops in bikes camps in the parking lot of the assisted living homes in front of Raley’s Grocery. They wait for speeders that come from downtown Pleasanton along Sunol Blvd., the speed limit is only 35mph. They usually are present if it already almost the end of the month and the start of the month.
Main Street near Stanley Boulevard
Heading to Livermore from downtown Pleasanton the Pleasanton Police will park in the driveways of businesses (ie the antique store) and radar you as you are comming towards Valley Blvd/Big O Tires.
I have been pulled over once for this and was written a "Courtesy Citation" and told to keep my speed down. They are parked there 4-7 evenings weekly and are hidden by the trees and buildings.
Concord Street near Kottinger Street
There is an elementary school at the top of this street, and they will nail you for speeding. There is no regular time that this is enforced. But, they do seem to give out a lot of tickets.
State Highway 680 Southbound near Right before the Stoneridge Exit
A MotorCycle CHP from time to time will be parked on the left hand side under the bridge before the Stoneridge exit, right after you pass the 580/680 corridor. Also he parks on the right hand side right before the Stoneridge exit and hides on the turn.
