Simi Valley, California Speed Traps

Going north on Sycamore from Royal Ave, there is a tan/brown older Ford van that never seems to move on the east side of the street. I have frequently seen a motorcycle cop parked right in front of the van and completly hidden from view of northbound traffic with his radar gun out to catch vehicles going by. I have seen multiple stops of people going north who had no idea he was there.

I saw the undercover cops with their radar near the corner and a lady cop sitting in her car near the crosswalk — might be setting up a speed trap to get the Knolls Elementary Parents ……… saw this happen a few years ago at the crosswalk near White Oak Elementary School, they put an undercover cop in the crosswalk and she stepped in front of cars all morning making it impossible to stop in time. Many parents got very expensive tickets.

There is a small utility turnout north of LA Ave, just before the Mobil station, where cops like to "chill" with radar guns catching people heading up to the 118.

Officers sit on Stearns north of Alamo watching for west bound speeders on Alamo at the bottom of the hill comong from Yosemite.
