First Street near US Highway 118
North bound on 1st Street just past Royal Ave. The motor officer parks in the Simi Ford driveway. Drivers are negotiating the uphill grade with confusing lane markings to enter the 118 freeway.
Madera Street near Between Albertson’s and Wood Ranch Parkway
Motorcycle cops are in driveways – usually at the bottom of the hill. Notice the unfair speed limit drops of 10 miles per hour in a matter of three blocks. Couple that with traveling downhill. This equals speedtrap in the greatest sense of the word. Watch out and drive the speed limit. Best way to not get a ticket.
First Street near Challenger Park
Motorcycle Officers will sit in the shadows of the bushes on the East side of First Street as it turns into Long Canyon near Challenger Park.
Sycamore Drive near Christmas House-Near Royal Ave.
Motorcycle Cops will set in front of a parked van on the east side of Sycamore drive, right next to the famous christmas house. As you head North from Royal ave. towards the 118 freeway they hide. You won’t see them unless you pass them or look under the van as you apporch their hiding spot. The times they are heavy is before school and after school. Remember the speed limit there is different than other streets, it’s only 40 mph. Stay safe.
