Los Angeles Avenue near Metrolink/UP Railroad Crossing
Motorcycle cops sit in parking lots just west of the railroad crossing on the south side of Los Angeles Avenue – between the crossing and Tapo St. They pull over traffic headed in both directions. I have seen them while both headed to the train station in the early a.m. as well as while returning home in the p.m. They usually work in pairs, but not always.
State Highway 118 near Rockey Peak
Watch for aircraft (usually fix wing) that are flying parallel to the 118 east and west bound. Especially west bound. You can see them for miles away before you get caught. Be alert.
Royal Avenue near Tapo Canyon Boulevard
Heading East bound on Royal Ave, between Sequoia and Tapo Canyon, a Motorcycle officer parks/hides in the driveway of Industrial Center just West of Tapo Canyon and gives tickets to people om their way to work.
1st Street near 118 Freeway
At the Top of 1st Street it is easy to pick up speed after exiting the 118 Freeway becuse its down hill. I see people pulled over all the time after crossing Cochran St.
L.A. Avenue near Tapo Cyn Road
On L.A. avenue, East of the Tapo Cyn intersection, on the south side, the patrol car will sit behind the trees/bushes in the driveway of the Countrywide building parking lot.
