Chambers Avenue near Mexico Street
If you are on Mexico and Chambers going towards Buckley. In the houses , there are cops that are in plain color cars. They will run out in front of you with an orange vest, holding a stop sign yelling at you to stop !
Interstate 225 near Parker Road
Highway patrol Parks on the north bound side 4 lanes just before you get to Parker Road. It’s too late because they park just around a corner. The speed limit is 55 MPH. Traffic generally flows at 70 mph and they just pick and choose which cars get a ticket.
State Highway SH-83 Parker Rd near Hampden Avenue
Typically southbound Parker Rd at the entrance to Cherry Creek State Park. Speed limit is posted 45, but they like to catch everyone doing 55 or better coming off I-225. they also like to use the parked police car with the dummy sitting in the driver’s seat.
Interstate I-25 North or South Bound Off Ramp / Crossover near US Highway I-225 East Bound On Ramp / Crossover
The trap is usually right after the itersection / crossover of I-25 and I-225. If you are getting off of I-25 and transfering routs to I-225 they will usually be sitting just around the blind corner as you get onto I-225 on the right-hand side of the Highway. You might not know it but the speed limit on the off ramp is only 45MPH which kinda sucks because you just got off of a 75MPH Interstate so they tend to tag you to the fullest. Since this is such a prome area for speeding especially watch out towards the end of the month, "Gotta meet that Quota". I have seen them out there as early as 3am and as late as 11pm at least twice a week for sure
Smoky Hill Road Road near Chambers Ave. and/or Buckley Road Avenue
