Motorcycle cops sit in the parking lot of Rampart Plumbing and pull over drivers all day long in this section.
Palmer Park and Murray
There is a police officer that sits in someone’s driveway on southeast corner of Palmer Park and Murray. He sat right up against the garage door under a tree. He was on a motorcycle and did not have a radar gun. I suspect he was waiting to catch people running red lights.
Briargate Blvd between Union Blvd and Lexington
Semi-permanent digital road sign on Eastbound side of Briargate Blvd between Union Blvd and Lexington that displays the current speed of driver approaching from 300 yards back. If triggered, blue/red lights appear warning driver to slow down. Speed limit that triggers it seems to be variable. There is no posted speed limit sign near by to warn the driver what the current actual posted speed limit is. This semi-permanent digital road sign is most likely set to a limit under the actual posted limit in an effort to slow traffic down in the area.
