Littleton, Colorado Speed Traps
Santa Fe Between the entrance to Aspen Grove and Mineral
Littleton PD has been popping people left and right in this area. There are several good places for them to hide along this stretch and even up to Arapahoe Community College. Theres a small hill on NB Santa Fe in this area that seems to be their favorite spot to patrol.
W. Bowles Ave. @ S. Wright St. (1 mile east of C-470 on W. Bowles Ave)
They will get you coming and going at this location. The traffic on W. Bowles Ave. is moderate at worst, and with 6 lanes its usually wide open through here. Jeffco likes to park on S. Wright St. and clock motorists traveling in both directions on Bowles. As you are heading east the hill obscures their visibilty, west bound they’re hidding behind the fence. Their patrol isn’t predictable, they’ll hit it heavy for about a week then take a month or so off. I’ve also seen as many as 6 deputies at one time. Vicious!
Coal Mine Ave around Dakota Ridge High School
Jeffco cops will sit in the exit to the apartment complex and hit students/parents as they round Alkire/Coal Mine to enter Dakota Ridge.
