Going East the speed drops from 45 mph to 35 mph without a sign warning you that the speed drops. The County Sheriff will post an officer in the median on a motorcycle during the daylight hours with a radar gun or in a patrol car at night. Going west the speed goes from 35 mph to 45 mph. The officer hides in a driveway for a strip mall about 300 yards from where the speed zone changes.

US Highway 202 near Interstate 95

Jacksonville, FloridaOct 16, 20071 Comments

Heading westbound on JTB, they sit right at the top of the overpass of Salisbury Rd. on a very wide shoulder. It is hard to see them only because the buildings in the background camouflage them easily when approaching from a far distance. The speed limit is 60mph and changes to 45mph at that point. They will normally have a tripod setup clocking you as far as a quarter-mile.
