Hart Bridge Expressway near University Boulevard
Heading east on hart expressway, just over the hump past University Blvd, Overpass blocks view of Radar set-up.
Deerwood Loop Road near Centturion Parkway
The police park up on the sidewalk to stop traffic traveling east on Deerwood Loop. The police will be on the right. There is a bend in the road that hides the police. This is between Southside Blvd and Gate Parkway. When you travel east there is only 1 traffic light on Deerwood Loop before you get to Gate Parkway. The trap is after the light right around the bend.
Brady Road near San Jose Boulevard
Where Brady Road intersects Mandarin Road at the southernmost section of Mandarin Road. Speed limit is listed at 30 mph. Often a motorcycle cop.
State Route 115 near West Edgewood Avenue
Within a mile of Edgewood Ave, W., the sheriff and the Florida Highway Patrol set up a speed trap in a vacant lot on the right as you drive north on Rt. 115 (Lem Turner Rd.). I seem to recall that the limit there is 35 mph.
Argyle Forest Boulevard near Youngerman Circle
Now that Argyle Forest Blvd has been widened, speeds have increased drastically while the limits have actually been lowered. The limit is no longer 45 mph all the way down the Blvd, at some places it is 40 and it even hits 35. JSO has used unmarked Impalas and motorcycles to enforce the speed limit in the stretch between Youngerman Circle and Blanding Blvd. Sometimes they are closer to Blanding, favoring a setup based in the median near the turn to get into Publix, Longhorn’s, etc, and other times they shoot from closer down to Youngerman. Occasionally they can even be seen down past Rampart right near the small historic bridge. I have never seen them set up after Wesport Rd, however.
