Southside and Beach Blvd Overpass…
Officers on unmarked and motorcycle park on the north bound side of the overpass or at the center of the overpass and clock your speed and another office pulls you off to the side further down (at the corner of Southside and Nimitz Rd)
US Highway 17 near North of Collins Road
Two police vehicles or state troopers will park in the median beside each other in opposite directions, one facing southbound lanes, another facing the northbound lanes. Their lights and motors are off, so that you have limited visibility of their presence until you get within 20 feet of distance.
103rd Street near Harlow Boulevard
Everytime I drive by the Jacksonville Public Library on 103rd St there is always a cop car or two sitting in the parking lot and most times they pulled a car over into the parking lot too. I don’t know anyone that has been pulled over here but there’s almost always a car pulled over here. The speed limit is 45 but traffic usually flows at about 50-55.
Southside Boulevard near Beach Boulevard
Right over the Beach Blvd overpass on the Northbound side. One radar on a tripod, 2 motorcycle cops and 1 cruiser. Thankfully I was just coming up the on ramp.
