They park their cars in the entrance way to the apartments and clock people heading west just around the first corner on Argyle Forest Blvd. By the time you see them it’s to late.

Alumni Drive near Betty Holzendorf Drive

At the University of North Florida campus their cops (who are Real State police officers by the way) setup speed traps near the Crossings and the University Center. They park a cop car in this area in the morning with nobody in it and then around luch time they put a real cop in the car! They will stop you on campus and off for 10 miles over the speed limit and you are guarenteed a ticket. They have cops on BMW motorcycles (BMWs!)that hide in the bushes by the drive going to the UC in the mornings and at night.

San Jose Boulevard near Oak Lawn Cemetery

Jacksonville, FloridaApr 13, 20070 Comments

Use of cars & motorcycles. Going south on San Jose Blvd, just as your round the corner/hill, by Oak Lawn Cemetery, they are set up under a canopy of trees on the side of the road. By the time you see them – it’s too late.

Hodges Boulevard near Beach Boulevard

Jacksonville, FloridaApr 10, 20070 Comments

2-3 police officers hide behind the bushes of a office building on Hodges. This is heading towards Beach Blvd on Hodges just before the new Super Target. They have a radar gun and pick off people as they are coming towards them and just wave them into the driveway of the building to ticket. They are at this location frequently especially in the afternoons.

Hodges Boulevard near Beach Boulevard

Twice now I’ve seen a trap on Hodges approaching Beach Blvd. (about 600 yards from Beach) where they have this binocular evice pointing down the road. They’ll flag down anyone who is speeding and get them to pull over on a side street.
