Interstate 95 near State Highway 112 Airport Expressway
State troopers patrol the stretch of I-95 between NW 54 Street and State Road 112, usually southbound and in the afternoon, paceclocking vehicles or nabbing them with laser or radar. Speed limit is set at 55 mph, however, traffic flows around 70-75 mph. Troopers use cars and motorcycles.
Interstate 95
Police on I-95 are looking for drug runners late at night, so they will pull you over for being above the speed limit at all, and write tickets for 6 or more over. The best way to avoid this is to just steer clear of I-95 after about 9:30-10:00 PM.
878 Expressway
878 is a notorious speed trap. Both directions are monitored by airplane. I have seen as many as a dozen FHP cars ticketing cars between 87th and 72nd Avenue.
