Ocala, Florida Speed Traps
NE 7th Street near 41st Avenue
This is just East of 36th Ave (From Publix off of Hwy 40 SS Blvd) There is a hill just after the 2nd NE 41st Ave on the Right. There is a school bus stop just past the hill so Law enforcement has been heavy. The speed limit is 40 (as the city calls this a by-pass road not residential) but many come flying through at 50+. Be very careful. I have seen them in driveways (apparently the neighbors dislike the speed limit and have complained) they sit on side streets. It’s mostly from SE 41st ave to Hunters Trace going East. And in reverse going West. With the small hills, it’s hard to see the officer and Bam..you’re pulled over.
