Arlington Heights Road near North of Golf
The stretch og Arlington Heights Rd north of Golf, and south of the Northwest tracks in downtown AH. Can be patrol in either direction.
Wilke Road near Nichols Avenue
Stop sign at intersection of Wilke and Nichols. If you don’t wait 5 or 6 seconds, they claim you didn’t stop, even when turning right.
Thomas Street near Ridge Avenue
The cops sit on the north side of Thomas on Ridge behind the hedge and catch speeders going both Eastbound and Westbound. Sometimes, they sit on the south side next to the watertower. On rare occassions, they sit on Lynnwood (one street west of Ridge). Traffic is normally moving between 30 and 35 mph, rather than the posted 25 mph.
State Route 53 near Dundee Road
Police tend to sit under the Dundee Road overpass on Rt. 53, both north and south.
Palatine Road near Arlington Heights Road
Officers will sit in the parking lot of the Citibank and take radar for cars traveling East on Palatine. The speed drops from 40 to 35 and officers will ticket if you are going 40-45MPH right after the change in speed limit
