2000 Block of W Wilhelm Road
Heading South on Allen Road just past Hickory Grove Road, the speed limit is 45mph. If you turn right on Wilhelm it’s 35mph, but if you turn left it’s 30mph. Makes no sense. There’s more housing on the right (west) side of Allen Road than there is on the left (east) side. Motorcycle police sit at Fire Station on Wilhelm (east side) about 1500 feet from the intersection and shoot radar at cars as they are turning left off of Allen going 45mph onto Wilhelm. My ticket was 41 mph in the 30mph zone and was approximately 850 feet from the intersection. If I had seen the 30mph sign I would have gone that speed, but I missed it as I was turning through the intersection.
north sheridan road
north sheridan road between northmoor and knoxville ave. Southbound cars coming off knoxville ( 45mph ) enter a 30 mph zone. North bound cars go from a 40mph zone between glen and northmoor to a 30 mph zone after the traffic light to knoxville ave. traffic cars will sit and run radar for either direction and i have also seen motorcycle police sit on both sides at the same time.
