Lexington, Kentucky Speed Traps
The overpass I-75 and Man O War exit 109
One police car sits (hides) on the overpass of Man O War and uses radar on the cars going north and south bound (under the overpass) on I-75. There are police cars waiting for his call on both north and south bound ramps. I spotted the police car sitting on the bridge one day. As I went under, I saw him with the radar clocking cars going North bound thats when I looked over and saw a cruiser sitting, waiting for him to give the call. Moments later, out of no where, the car in front of me got pulled over! (Lucky me that day)
Richmond Road
Police cruisers often sit in the median behind the stone marker at Preston Ave. and Richmond Rd.

Pimilico Parkway near Gainsway Drive
Pimilico Pkwy. between Gainsway and Centre Pkwy…….Pimlico is 35mph except for a one block section between Gainsway and Centre…..the road slightly curves so they set at both ends and get you coming out of the curve after you’ve already driven several blocks at 35 mph…it’s posted 25mph but only once …I got pulled over and ticketed for doing 35…couldn’t believe it.

Delong Road near DeLong Place
This is a rural two lane road. In this trap it’s a long straightaway. Officers routinely train recruit classes in radar by setting a trap at the entrance to Delong Place at the end of the straightaway, and do mass roundups of unsuspecting victims. Speed limit is 35mph, but only minimally posted. This road is obviously designed for 50-55 mph.
