Baton Rouge, Louisiana Speed Traps
Sherwood Forest near Coursey
Several patrol cars parked in abandoned business parking lot. They temporarily changed the 45 mph sign to 35 and then stand out there with radar and point you over into the lot. After they are done in that location, they take the temp 35mph sign off the permanent 45 mph sign.
Westbound I-12
The speed limit is 70mph before a hill/bridge and suddently it drops to 60mph down hill/bridge. The cop is always waiting there using laser for vehicles. You basically have no time to respond especially you are keeping the traffic (like what I did) and with so many cars/trucks around you. But the cop will always pull you over especially you have a out-of-state license plate and no matter how faster the car in front of you are driving. Be aware.

Jones Creek Rd.
This trap is located on Jones Creek Rd. between Terrell Rd. and the bridge about half way between both. They sit in the church parking lot and shoot you. The speed limit is normally 40 but right now it’s 25 due to the construction. Also this fine is DOUBLED because of the road construction. Be careful!
Millerville and I-12
BRCP radar people driving on I-12 while they are sitting on Millerville. On top of the overpass. They radio other units sitting on the millerville exit that then pull the vehicle over. I live on Millerville and see this at least 3 times a week.
