Baton Rouge, Louisiana Speed Traps

I was driving along doing the speed limit.
I had a BRSD car pull me over claiming I was doing 60 mph.
My car has a manual transmission I was in third gear.
Officer fed me the line a car like yours was just used in a armed robbery.
My attorney had the ticket dismissed due to they failed to check the wrong box on the ticket.
I no longer live in Baton Rouge area but want others to be aware this speed trap.

Heading North on College Drive after passing under or exiting I-12, as you approach Westdale Heights Academic Magnet School located at 2000 College Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, which is on your right, officers are literally standing in the street pointing radar runs at everyone as they approach the area, pulling you to the side and giving you a computer generated ticket from a combination hand held radar gun/ ticket printer.

Officers watch the traffic on Summa between Picardy Drive and Essen Lane..I get off of work at 1 AM and they are out there then.

Officers sit on the left hand side behind the first and second overpasses when you go onto I-12 from I-10. You usually cannot see them because of the lighting and the curve of the road.
