Dearborn Heights, Michigan Speed Traps
Ford Road near US Highway 24 Telegraph Road
There is at least two, if not more cops that sit at that corner and nail people who "roll" the stop sign, among other violations. I really don’t think my stop constituted as a roll as I did stop, check for traffic and go, but unless you come to a complete, five second stop, they will nab you, just as another driver got pulled over by cop number 2 as I was waiting for my ticket.
Ford Road near Telegraph Road
This happens during AM & PM rush hour primarily but there is a bank on Ford Rd. just west of Telegraph and a cop usually sits in this lot & nabs people who are speeding (running lights & stop signs also) & he probably gets 1-2 people an hour or more so be careful in this area.
Croissant Street near Powers Street
What the hell? I got a ticket for rolling a stop sign in the most remore part of Dearborn Height. These guys are everywhere!
Hanover Street near Southfield Expressway
Driveing on the service drive. Parks on Hanover and use radar to check the cars driving on the service drive.
Warren Avenue near Outer Drive
Dearborn Heights cops hit this stretch of roadway hard. It is the border between Dearborn Heights and Detroit and is only posted as a 35mph zone (which is a joke). There is always at least one Dearborn Heights cop on a stop on Warren if you drive through the area.
