Ann Arbor Trail near Newberg Road

Livonia, MichiganAug 31, 20071 Comments

Speed limit drops from 35 to 25 due to an ellementary school. Police sit in neighbors driveways in unmarked cars as well as parked across the street from the school on a side street. In the PM the cops sit at the end of the school’s driveway too. Watch your speed and buckle up…school’s open and the cops are ready!

6 Mile Road near Park light. to Farmington Road

cop usually seen on road that goes into the park, or across the street from the park, probably looking for yellow and red light runners, as this light is almost impossible to make without speeding

Schoolcraft Road near Cardwell Road

Livonia, MichiganAug 30, 20070 Comments

Driving down Schoolcraft, past Middlebelt and before Inkster, there is a road called Cardwell that crosses 96 into the parking lot of the Burton Manor banquet facility. Cops sit either in the entrance drive to Burton Manor, or in a driveway just to the west of the facility. I’m a part-time employee of a business in the area, and often see cops sitting there in both regular squad cars and various unmarked cars in the evening. Many people speed on schoolcraft; the speed limit is way too low than it should be, and cops hand out many a ticket here. Be VERY careful, here and anywhere on schoolcraft!
