Shelby Township, Michigan Speed Traps

Heading Eastbound on M-59 (Hall Rd) right after you pass the Mound exit. They hide on the right on the sliver of cement between the merge lane from people getting ON to Hall Rd from Mound Rd. The speed drops from 70 to 50 immedietly, which makes it an easy mistake.

In this stretch, the speed drops from 40 to 30 mph. They sit just past the first sign near Mayfair

Monday thru Friday cops are there first thing while the school zone is blinking in front of Beck Elem School. They constantly move between 24 and 25 during the school zone time.

I got pulled over after failing to stop at a stop sign on 26 and m-53. The cop was sitting on a little road just pass the hill going east on 26 mile with his lights off at night. So, stop at that sign on the off-ramp and make sure you’re going no more than 45 mph over that bridge!. Also, going west on 26 just before Van Dyke, a cop loves the Speedway on the corner (Macomb County boy). Good luck.

Be careful approaching VanDyke Expressway bridge going east and west. Also, ticketing for cell phone use.
