Shelby Township, Michigan Speed Traps

In the Regency Hills Subdivision at Whitby Way between 24 and 25 Mile Road. The speed limit is 25 in residental and police drive navigator truck and ride on motorcycles hidden off Regency Hills Drive and Harrow Way.

The cop will sit parked in the empty lot on the northeast corner of the intersection. There are trees and shrubs blocking the cop, so southbound Schoenherr traffic and westbound 25 Mile traffic cannot see the cop. He is usually there in the AM rush hour, but is sometimes also there in the PM rush hour.

Unmarked car sits on north side of 25 mile Rd near entrance to High school. Office points gun at mostly westbound traffic; occasionally to eastbound. Mainly enforced during AM rush hour.

This is a very busy street that travels in between 25 and 24 Mile Road. There is no leniency with the Shelby Township Police here. They have given many tickets for 1 MPH over and even the "failure to stop" tickets for not stopping for a complete 4 seconds. The "failure to stop" ticket is 2 points.
