Troy, Michigan Speed Traps

The cops like to sit in the parking lot of the community theater in the early afternoon. They like to nab the high schoolers on their way home

Limited Duration Speed Trap, on Maple Road between Maplelawn and Crooks Rd. Connected to Construction on Maplelawn Road to enforce construction speed zone, however, no visible construction workers at any time.

Rochester between 14 1/2 and 15 mile road unmarked camaros and explorers sit on the side of the road by the lumber mill anytime day or night but mostly during rush hours…be very careful, they are unforgiving! Occasionally see them on early saturday and sunday morning too.

This operation is on the Southbound side of I-75 only, between mile 71 and 69. Sorry I don’t have a detector to tell you the instrument(s) used, and I’ve never been stopped by this group.

Usually I see this one on Sunday afternoons/evenings, as folks are coming home from a weekend up north. Some days the shoulders are just lined with unhappy motorists! The limit drops from 70 to 65 several miles earlier, so it’s not really a surprise.
