Las Vegas, Nevada Speed Traps
Paradise from Sunset to Warm Springs and Beyond…
Many sidestreets full of bears waiting for you. Especially, adjacent to the North side of the 215 Berms in the business district on the west side of street. Must of pulled over 6 cars while waiting for my ticket…
Hualapai and Twain
Metro usually sits in the PT’s Pub parking lot and they nail people flying down Hualapai toward Flamingo.
The Hualapai and Twain intersection is pretty deadly anyway, as there is no light and people seem to not understand right of way.
Nonetheless, be careful! Motorcycle cops tend to enjoy sitting on the sidewalk/grass area coming down Twain from Town Center right before you get to Hualapai.
on Sahara between Lamb and Boulder highway
Near the underpass there is a very long strech of staight road, they sit in pairs behind a low block wall, the limit is 35, most people go 50 or more. they are there regularly even 7:00 am on weekends you can’t see them until it is way too late, don,t even chance it.
On Spencer Street between Tropicana and Flamingo
Goes from 25 MPH to only 15 MPH. Police are always hiding there and tickets are given out like crazy. Beware.
Desert Inn and Maryland Parkway
Recently I have been seeing motorcycle cops at night across from Sunrise Hospital in the parking entrance of the medical buildings clocking people. This seems to happen mostly at night. In fact most of Maryland Parkway is a speedtrap so be careful either way you go down Maryland Parkway.
