Troy, New York Speed Traps
State Route 2 near St. Mary’s Cemetery
At any hour of the day, Troy police wait across the road from St. Mary’s Cemetery in a parking area. The police wait for those travelling Route 2 who cross the Troy city line from Brunswick into Troy. The speed limit drops from 40 to 30 at the city line. Even though it’s an old photo, you can Google Earth the address of "80 Brunswick Rd, 12180", then zoom in and see a police car in the photo. This is exactly where they sit.
