S. Wilmington Street near Tom Bradshaw 40 -440 Bridge Crossing
Hiding under bridge. With road construction speed limits lowered down to 35mph.
US Highway 70 East near Morehead Drive
During nights and weekends, cruisers often set up on eastbound Glenwood at the bottom of a 3/4 mile-long, 7% downhill grade. Speed limit is 45 and without touching the gas, your speed can increase to over 60 at the bottom of the hill. They set up behind the Golden Corral sign with cruisers that have internal lights. 60 or more will get you a citation.
Capital Boulevard near Wade Avenue
Midway between Wade ave and the Wake forest exit. Motorbikes. Not used as frequently as a few years ago but they are still they now and then.

Millbrook Road near Quail Hollow Drive
This strip of enforcement run from west of quail hollow to about hearth drive. They will park motor bike on the sidewalks and have many different positions they use in this strip. This has been an ongoing speedtrap for over 15 years. The hottest part is (of course) at the bottom of the valley at quail hollow.

Wade Avenue near Oberlin Road
Officer parks off to the side of Wade Avenue, in front of Cameron View Ct townhouses, facing eastbound traffic. Speed limit is 35mph and, as is often case, cars tend to go faster because of the downhill coming up to cop.
