Also, watch out for RPD motorcycles in this area, especially near the end of the month when quotas need to be met and revenue needs to be collected. Speed limit is 45, should be higher in this area.

officers sit in the traffic island just past where brier creek parkway and lumley road intersect. just past the brier creek mall near the Cheeburger Cheeburger. they use motorcycles as well as patroll cars. usually pointed toward the globe road intersection.

Highway patrol usually sits under the US70 (glenwood) bridge and clocks drivers travelling I-540 towards I-40. They are hidden pretty well due to the concrete barriers and when you see them, it’s too late.
