Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Speed Traps
Interstate 35 near Exit Number 127

N. May Street
The Hefner Division of the Oklahoma City Police, has alot of speed traps in this area. They have a lot of places to hide. This is an upper level income area, with a low crime rate.Several convienence store employees who are familiar with the officers have told me that they prefer to write speeding tickets, than to spend time doing a crime report.
It only takes about 5 minutes to write A ticket. There are other places within this division were crime is a serious problem. But the police officers in this area don’t want to deal with that. Their preference is to catch drivers coming down side streets doing 27mph in a 25mph zone. My personal word of advise is to stay away from this area unless you have to.
