Mississauga, Ontario Speed Traps
Lakeshore, and long branch bus station.
They are right behind the 2 small restaurant plazas, nice place to hide. 7 out of 10 times i see them there. specially on SUNNY days. whatch out.
Steeles Avenue between Mavis and Winston Churchill
Cruisers are located on side roads or driveways on either side of Steeles in a valley and hit vehicles in either direction who are moving downhill at the time.
The limit is 80, but because of the downhill stretch it is very easy to get caught speeding.
Matheson Blvd. between Tomken and Dixie Rd.
This 1.5 km stretch of road is one long speed trap. Enforcement is usually more prevelent in the summer months. It’s located in a dense industrial-business section of the city. Officers usually hide in the adjacent side roads off of Matheson, and usually at night (after 8 p.m.).
Along Hwy10 (Hurontario St.) Inbetween Hwys 403 and 401
Unmarked police cruisers hiding in side streets and driveways.
Creditview (100meters South of Britania)
This speed trap is set up to protect the school kids as they go and come from school. I agree with the trap, but be aware, they will give you a ticket if you get pulled over here. Usually active during 7-8:30am and 2-4pm. Peel Police will sit in the driveway of the church or complex. The police cars are visible, but most people never see them sitting there.
